A 10-day journey through the East of Bali, a vibrant place at the island blessed by the Gods. The spiritual place with sandy beaches and the endless beauty of nature. Day 1 Gianyar
Arrival in Gianyar. From the airport there is a transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is for leisure. Make a visit to the town of Gianyar or relax at the hotel.

Day 2 / 3 Gianyar

These days are free to spend. Visit the beautiful black sand beaches of Keramas. The waves are big and suitable for surfers. This beach is very popular among surfers. Alternatively, the traditional artist villages of Ubud, Mas and Celuk can be visited or the Safari Park in Bali, where you come face to face with the tropical wild animals of Indonesia.

Ubud is one of the spiritual places in the centre of the island of Bali. The name is derived from the Balinese word ubad that means medicine. The main street of Ubud is Jalan Raya Ubud with many shops (especially art), cafes, restaurants, hotels and the Puri Saren Agung palace. This is a major tourist attraction with performances of various Balinese dance groups. Also the market (pasar) is always busy. Near Ubud are beautiful rice fields. Well known is the Museum Puri Lukisan, consisting of 3 buildings with modern and traditional Balinese art. Also known is the Monkey Forest (Monkey forest) with the famous Monkey Cave, an ancient Hindu temple complex that is inhabited today by a large colony of more than 200 macaque monkeys.

Celuk Village is a famous art village in Bali, because the local residents are very proactive and full of innovation to the gold and silver crafting. This countryside is located in sub district of Sukawati, Gianyar Regency and owns the individuality and excellence in production of gold and silver crafting. Most of them are Balinese professional, artistic and skilful of design development related to the silver and gold crafting.

Mas, here you will find the most famous wood carvers of Bali, specializing in making masks. You can get them at work in their houses or gallery.



Day 4 Gianyar - Padangbai

Today the road heads from Gianyar to Padangbai. On the way there are various sites on the program. First Kamasan village is visited, which has a cultural importance on a Bali-wide level. The various 'traditional' styles of painting on modern Bali are derived from the Kamasan style, which in turn takes its patterns from ancient Java. The painters have a particular ward in Kamasan, the Banjar Sangging. The smiths are located in another ward, the Banjar Pande Mas. Followed by a visit to Kerta Gosa palace, a palace of justice. Kerta Gosa is a monument of the kingdom Klungkung, faded glory. It was built during the reign of Ida I Dewa Agung Jambe, one of the most charismatic kings of Klungkung. After Kerta Gosa you will visit the Andakasa temple, which is one of Sad Kahyangan (six main major temples in Bali) that take place in South Direction known as the Sthana of Dewa Brahma that creates live at the first time. Finally Goa Lawah, known as the bat temple and Kusamba are visited. At Kusamba the traditional way of salt production can be seen. The journey ends in Padangbai where the night can be enjoyed at the white sandy beach of Padangbai village.

The Andakasa Temple
 From the Balinese myth, Andakasa Hill was created when the God created Bali island, the God took a part from the Semeru Mountain in Java to make a new island, when the God passes the Andakasa area, the God dropped some parts of the mountain, which is now the Andakasa Hill. The rest of the part became Mount Agung which is the biggest and highest mountain in Bali.



Day 5 / 6 Padangbai
These days are spend in Padangbai and are free to schedule. A visit can be made to the Silayukti temple, the Bias Tugel beach, the Blue Lagoon or Nusa Penida Island.

Bias Tugel Beach, also known as Pantai Kecil what means 'small beach', is the best beach in Padangbai. This white sandy beach is ideal for swimming, but the currents can be strong.

Blue Lagoon Beach is a great beach for snorkelling. The coral reef reached to the coast and is very beautiful. On a calm day there is plenty of fish and excellent visibility. The underwater world is amazing at the Blue Lagoon. There are different types of rare reef sharks, stonefish, moray eels and blue ribbon eels, rays, squids and octopuses, stargazer fish and there even lives a great Napoleon fish. Buoys mark the furthest point where you can go snorkelling.

The Silayukti temple consists of four major temples and some small temples around it. People in Bali believe that Silayukti is one of the oldest temples in Bali. Legend says that Silayukti Temple was built by Mpu Kuturan, a sacred priest from Java, who introduced the caste system to Bali in 11th centuries. Every sixth Balinese month, or exactly 210 days, there is a celebration in the temple. Most of Balinese people come to Silayukti Temple to pray, the celebration is usually held in three days.

Nusa Penida is an island southeast of Bali. Nusa Penida is known for its beautiful unspoiled nature. There are many dive sites in the region such as Crystal Bay, Manta Point and Suana Bay. That makes Nusa Penida very popular for divers. The waters are very clear and generally pretty quiet. In many locations it is possible to see reef sharks, hammerhead sharks and sometimes even whale sharks.



Day 7 Padangbai - Amed

From Padangbai the journey continues to Amed. On the way various places of interest are visited, starting with the village of Tenganan, which is a Bali Aga village. Followed by a visit to the Lagoon Temple of Candi Dasa and Taman Ujung, a water palace. Moreover, a healing spring is visited at the Telaga Waja River. At the end of the day Amed is reached, followed by a transfer to the hotel.

Bali Aga village means a village that still holds the origin traditions and rules of ancient Balinese, like house design, religious ritual ceremony, and how to interact with each other (the way of life).

Tenganan Pegringsingan is a village in the regency of Karangasem in Bali, Indonesia. It is a tourist attraction due to its original Bali Aga village. Bali Aga village means a village that still holds the original traditions and rules of ancient Balinese. The people of Tenganan Pegringsingan were selected by the god Indra to administer a territory that was conceived, in accordance with his divine plan to be a microcosm of the world. They were instructed to use every means to keep it pure and clean. The concept of territorial, bodily and spiritual purity and integrity is of paramount importance in this village.



Day 8 / 9 Amed

These days are for leisure. Amed is great for snorkelling and diving. There are several diving schools that offer different packages. The water is crystal clear and sometimes the schools of fish are so close that you can swim with them. In one of the bays lies a wreck of an American patrol vessel about 50 meters from the coast. The deepest point is almost 30 meters underwater.

USS Liberty
USS Liberty: The coastal village of Amed, with its black volcanic beach with brightly colour wooden boats, is a gathering place for divers and snorkelers to the sunken wreck of the USS Liberty. The wreck was built in 1918 and sunken by Japan in 1942. Later the ship was brought towards the coast, but it was beyond repair. The vast wreck is overgrown with coral, making it full of colourful fish. It is located only 50 meters from the beach and is one of the most accessible wrecks in the world, both for snorkelling as diving.



Day 10 Amed
In the morning there is a transfer to the airport for your next destination. End of this unique journey.
