Day 1 Malang - Batu
Arrival in Malang. There is time to visit the city Malang, which holds various colonial buildings, whit architecture of Alun Alun and the still remained decorations at Toko Oen. Followed to Batu with a spiritual visit to Gunung Kawi.
Gunung Kawi is a volcano where you have a beautiful view over the city. The town of Gunung Kawi is considered one of the most fascinating villages of the South Western part of Malang. Here you can find the tomb of grandfather Iman Soedjono, one of the seventy noblemen who opposed the Dutch occupation led by Prince Diponegoro in 1825-1830. Besides the grave of Imam Soedjono lies the grave of grandfather Djoego or Kiai Zakaria II. The visitors who come to this place believe that the pilgrimage will bring them luck in their future work and life. The tombs themselves have long been equipped with adequate facilities for both pilgrimages and vacationers. |

Day 2 Batu - Surabaya
It is time to discover the history of Majapahit. A visit is brought to Candi Waringin, where you can feel the old port of Majapahit, Candi Tikus, containing holy water. Followed by a visit to Candi Bajang Ratu with clean gardens of the former Kingdom. These are located in the area, Mojokerto.
In Mojokerto lies the village of Trowulan. The village is surrounded by archaeological sites with various temples spread over an area of approximately 100 km ². It is said that this was the capital of the ancient Majapahit empire and is described by Mpu Prapanca in a fourteenth-century poem Nagara Kretagama. Fifteenth-century sources from China have also confirmed this. The capital was destroyed by invading Girindrawardhana in 1478, and after this event they moved the capital of the Majapahit empire to Daha. |

Day 3 Surabaya - Pasuruan
In the early morning a visit will be made to Madura, one of the most beautiful islands of Java. On the way the beautiful bridge Suramadu that connects Surabaya and Madura will be passed. After arrival in Madura, there is the opportunity to see the various traditional architectural styles of the island to admire. At the end of the day you travel to Pasuruan through Sidoarjo. A short stop at Sidoarjo is definitely worth it. After an uncontrolled leak, there is a sea of mud that is daily fought with the raising dikes around. However, parts of the city have been turned into a ghost town. After arriving in Pasuruan it is possible to admire the old colonial buildings on a ritjak. Go back in time and marvel at the beauty of the architecture. The mosque Masjid Djami in the centre of the city, however, does not include the architectural beauty. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to the hotel in Pasuruan.
Day 4 Pasuruan - Bromo
At daybreak a trip is made to the Bromo volcano, with the opportunity to visit Bromo. By Jeep you will drive to the edge of the Bromo Mountain and then walk the last part by stairs (400 steps) to really get to the edge. From the top of Mount Bromo you experience the stunning and impressive spectacle of the sunrise. It is possible to explore the valley of Mount Bromo on a horse. Take the time to visit the Tengger temple in the valley. When going around the Bromo Mountain the Widodaren cave is reached (on a horse). Feel and purify your soul in the sparkling spring water from the cave.
The Widodaren cave is a sacred place for the Hindus of Tengger. In the cave lies a spring that serves as a source of holy water for religious ceremonies of Tengger’s Hindus. It is believed that the water of the sacred spring has a spiritual strength that makes you look young and makes it easier to find your soul mate. The users of this holy water usually bring offers of food or chicken as a sign of their gratitude to the owner of this sacred source, God, the Almighty. Three priests work together to manage the religious activities in this sacred cave and act as a medium for the users to connect with the owner of the cave. This cave is also used as a place for meditation. |

Day 5 Bromo - Jember
In the morning there is time to explore the city Jember. Afterwards a visit is made to the beautiful white beach Watu Ulo with in the background the beautiful traditional colourful painted ships. Providing a great photo opportunity. Overnight takes place in simple cottages on the edge of the jungle. From here you can admire Nusa Barung.
Nusa Barung is an island which consists of a rocky landscape that is nicely spread. Nusa Barung has a beautiful white sandy beach and a natural forest. Moreover, this island has a unique and endemic flora and fauna with a very fresh air. This pristine island is perfect for body and mind to refresh. The beauty of the underwater world in this island is much more enchanting. Visitors can snorkel around the beach, accompanied by marine fish and beautiful coral reef in blue and sparkling water. It is however advisable not to swim too far to the centre, because of the large waves. Nusa Barung is famous for its cluster of beautiful stones. The stones are large and look like a temple. In addition, the beauty of the cliffs around the beach will amaze you. It is unique and fascinating. |

Day 6 Jember - Sukamade
Today the journey heads for Sukamade where a tour will be made. On the way several plantations of papayas, coffee, rubber and cocoa are passed. After arrival a jungle trek starts with a great chance of spotting black monkeys, large iguanas, and toucans. Other animals to be found here are deer, boar and black panthers but the chance is not great to see this during the day.
Day 7 Sukamade - Ijen
This day is for leisure. See the centre of Sukamade, take a nice walk or relax on the beautiful beach. At the end of the day, the journey continues to the foot of the Ijen where you will spend the night.
Day 8 Ijen
After breakfast you will explore the Kawah Ijen volcano. Enjoy the magnificent views of the crater with the impressive green / blue Crater Lake. The unusual colour of the Crater Lake and the smoke that rises from the sulphur, provide a bizarre landscape. At the edge of the rainforest are small villages and coffee and clove plantations. Giant ferns and huge trees cover the volcanic hills. The crater of Ijen volcano offers impressive views.
Day 9 Ijen - Banyuwangi
Today you will visit the Wild Life Park reserve the Blambangan Peninsula, also known as
"Alas Purwo". Alas means forest or jungle and Purwo is the beginning of everything. Alas Purwo
is approximately 42 hectares and has many species of animals such as deer, wild boar and peacocks. There are also many caves present partly or completely covered by plants.
From Blambangan continue to Banyuwangi for an unforgettable journey through authentic
villages and beautiful plantations. The rest of the afternoon can be spent to see the village and
its surroundings.
Dag 10 Banyuwangi
After breakfast there is a transfer to the port or train station for your next destination. End of this unforgettable journey.
