Day 1 Saumlaki (Tanimbar Island)
After arrival at Tanimbar Island a transfer follows to the hotel in Saumlaki. The rest of the day is leisure. In the afternoon you can walk around Saumlaki. Meet and enjoy the magnificent views all around, feel the energy that Mother Nature has to offer.
The Tanimbar Islands consist of 65 small islands that are part of the province of Maluku. Some of those islands are, Fordate, Larat, Molu, Maru, Wotap, Wuliaru, Selu, Sera, Selaru, and the largest is Yamdena. |

Day 2/ 3 Saumlaki
These days Tanimbar Island will be explored. Discover this island with the unique 18 meter long boat that is made of ritual stones. This boat is made by the first inhabitants of the island. It is believed that the ancestors came with this boat to Tanimbar. A visit is also made to the traditional villages around the island. Outside the city is a Madonna statue in a rock. Here is a break for some photos and a walk through the village which is a unique experience. The people and especially the children greet you warmly and are delighted to pose for some pictures. Enjoy these days of endless peace in this piece of paradise.
Day 4 Saumlaki - Kei islands
After awakening by the sunrise, it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Saumlaki for a flight to the Kei Islands. This will be an unforgettable journey, enjoy the green and blue colours under your feet during the flight. Green pearls surrounded by crystal clear water, green and blue can both be seen on the islands and in the water. The Kei islands have, according to experts, the most beautiful beaches in the world. Upon arrival in Tual a transfer to the cottage follows. In the evening there is time to snorkel at the beach.
Day 5 / 6 Kei Islands
During these days you can refresh the soul on the Kei Islands. A visit is made to Masbait, from here is a beautiful panoramic view on the islands. After having enjoyed this view the journey continues to the market of Tual, to the Hawang cave and to the Difur beach to relax. Moreover, discover the small villages of Kei Kecil at your own pace. A visit is brought to the Ohoidertahwun, where hundreds of years ago rock drawings were made by Aboriginal people on their way to Australia. Make sure to also visit the Evu. This is a special water cave where you can swim under, above and between the stalactites. .
Day 7 Kei Islands - Banda
In the early morning, you leave the beautiful Kei islands for a flight to the Banda Islands. After arrival in Banda Neira a transfer follows to the hotel where you will spend the next few days. Take a walk or explore the island by bike. Enjoy this island covered with nutmeg gardens.
The Banda Islands form a group of ten small volcanic islands in the Banda Sea. The capital is Banda Neira. Banda islands are called the most beautiful islands of the Moluccas. The islands Lontar and Banda Neira are most known. Nutmeg is grown much. Banda is one of the best places for diving and snorkelling. The reefs are still intact and full of colourful fish and shellfish. |

Day 8 / 9 Banda
These days in Banda are free to spend. Make a visit to the Gunung Api that lies in the Banda Sea. Or visit Fort Belgica and Fort Nassau. A boat trip around Gunung Api surrounded by blue sea is definitely recommended. Discover the beautiful beaches of the Banda islands. Excellent for snorkelling and diving.
Gunung Api is a small circular island in a remote location in the Banda Sea. The volcano is a massive stratovolcano that is built of lava flows and has a central crater with a cone intra-crater. Explosive eruptions in 1512 and 1699 are the only known historical activity of Gunung Api Wetar.
Fort Belgica
Belgica Fort is a fortress of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) and was built in 1611 in order of Governor-General Pieter Both on the island Bandaneira.
Fort Nassau
Fort Nassau was built in 1609 on the foundations of the Old Portuguese fort. |

Day 10 Banda - Ambon
At the break of dawn a boat leaves to Ambon. Enjoy the beautiful clear water around you along the way, providing a unique energy. Once arrived in Ambon there is a transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend.
Day 11 / 14 Ambon
These days, you can learn about the culture of the island of Ambon. The days can be planned as desired. Within these days, certainly visit the Siwa Lima Museum, Fort Victoria, Pintu Kota and a holy statue of Christina Martha. Discover the history of Maluku and enjoy the energy that this island will offer.
Museum Siwa Lima was founded on the 8th of November in 1973. It is located on the hill near Taman Makmur. In the museum you will find an exhibition of Moluccan, Indonesian and colonial objects, architecture and clothing.
Fort Victoria was originally a Portuguese fort. It dates from 1575. In 1602 the Dutch took over the fort to then take control over the spice trade from Ambon.
Pintu Kota is an impressive cavity through a rock that looks like a gate to the Banda Sea. Underwater it seems to be overwhelmingly beautiful.
Christina Martha Tiahahu statue of a woman that was built in 1977. Her name is Martha Christina Tiahahu. She was the 17-year-old daughter of a village chief in Nusa Laut who rebelled against Dutch rule in 1817. After the execution of her father, she wandered for a while on the island until she was arrested and brought to Java on the Dutch ship 'Evertsen'. Along the way she became ill and died on January 2, 1818.

Day 15 Ambon - Ternate
After breakfast the road heads for Ternate. Upon arrival at Ternate there is a transfer to the hotel. Today a visit is made to the old but familiar VOC fort 'Oranje', the traditional market with many seafood stalls and a Buginese village with traditional houses. The VOC fort was built in 1607 by a Dutchman. It is largely in ruins and overgrown with plants, but the history and relationship with the Netherlands make it interesting. The market is colourful, busy and cluttered but cosy is this daily Pasar Gamalama. In this environment, the self-made silver chains are well-known, they are for sale on the market.
Day 16 / 17 Ternate
Time to explore the island of Ternate. In Ternate, you can relax, this is an island that exudes tranquillity. It seems as if times had stood still, a proper place to rest and unwind. Ternate is a peaceful island of greenery, volcanoes and small villages around. Visit the oldest clove tree in the world. It is possible to travel to the magnificent volcano Gamalama then to Kedaton, or the Sultan's palace with the crown, by motor bike. The Afo-tree which is 400 years old is also recommended to visit. End your journey full of nature and adventure that you will always keep in your heart. Transfer to the airport for your next destination.
