Day 1 Sorong
After arrival in Sorong there is a transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day you can explore the city or stroll along the port of Sorong. Then you will go to the Tanjung Kasuari beach. This is one of the most crowded areas around the city. It is a beautiful beach to relax peacefully.
Day 2 / 5 Sorong
Leisure days at Sorong to explore the area. It is possible to visit the Raja Ampat Archipelago Island, which is available on request via us. Visit Cape Cassuwart. This is a pretty long and clean beach where lots of exotic corals are located. You can also visit Crocodile Island. An island 500 meters from the beach. It is suitable for diving. The island is named crocodile, because the island looks like a crocodile floating in the water from a certain angle. Make sure to visit the hot spring Klaijili in Makbon which is used to cure skin diseases. You can also visit the following places on request.
Sorong has a beautiful beach promenade and has a number of historic buildings from the Dutch oil period. It is a city of contrasts. Near the town are the following attractions:
The island Kofiau
Kofiau is an island in the Indonesian province of West Papua and is part of the Raja Ampat Islands. The island is located 90 kilometres west of Salawati and 60 kilometres north of Misool. It is 150 square km and the highest point is 220 m
Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat is an archipelago in West Papua and consists of 610 mostly uninhabited islands. The four largest islands are Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta and Misool. The name Raja Ampat is also based on these four islands and literally means "four kings". Raja Ampat is a relatively unknown area in Indonesia, but among divers is this destination well known. This is due to the large range of different types of fish and fantastic coral reefs, ranging from hard to soft coral. The Raja Ampat islands are particularly well known among divers. Some beautiful dive sites are: Teluk Kabui, Pulau Wai, Manta Point. |

Day 5 Sorong - Manokwari
The journey continues today from Sorong to Manokwari. In Manokwari is a transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the area.
Manokwari
Manokwari is the capital of the province of West Papua and located in the northeast of the Indonesian province. Previously Manokwari has been a city with many Dutch influences. However, the city is definitely worth a few days visit. |

Day 6 / 9 Manokwari
During these days in Manokwari, you will discover this beautiful city. First the Numfoor Island will be visited, which is located on the peninsula, Bird's Head. Fishing and agriculture are the main sources of income on the island. Followed by a visit to the Pasar Puti Beach. This is a beautiful white beach just outside the centre of the town. Great for snorkelling. Then you have a unique experience, a trek to the Arfak Mountains. Enjoy the views all around and feel the energy of these mountains. North of Manokwari is the Gunung Meja the Meja nature reserve that is also on the program. From here is a beautiful view over the bay of Manokwari. On the mountain stands a Japanese war memorial memorising the victims who fell during World War II.
Arfak mountain trekking
The Arfak Mountains are a mountain range in the northeast of the Bird's Head Peninsula. It is a remote and rugged mountain range with fairly steep slopes. The highest peaks are the Mebo (2940 meters) and Umsini (2926 meters). The mountain consists of basalt and tuff with secondary andesite. |

End of a very special journey. You will be transferred to the airport for your next destination.
