Day 1 Bima - Lakey Beach
After arriving at the airport the first visit of this journey is the centre of Bima. Along the way unique panoramas of fish- and shrimp farms can be seen. From a distance it seems like carpets floating on the sea. A highlight of Bima is the museum. It is housed in the old palace of the royal family of Bima. Special "Keris" with beautiful 24 carat gold or colourful stones are to be found here. This also proves that the goldsmiths of Sumbawa belonged to the best in the world. The journey carries on to Nanga Doro, one of the oldest villages of Sumbawa, where one can find traditional houses. The day ends at Lakey beach, passing beautiful valleys, where the night is spent.

Dag 2 Lakey Beach
Leisure day. The beach provides various opportunities from tanning to surfing. Moreover, a walk along the beach will recharge you for the next day.

Day 3 Lakey Beach - Tambora
Today you open the day with a long journey towards Mount Tambora. A wonderful trip where the island of Sumbawa shows her beauty. A short stop is made on the way at the ancient hill of Dompu, which has a magnificent view over the city Dompu. In Tambora there is an opportunity to visit the Hindu Agung temple. Take your time to feel the special energy forces and the serenity; experience the harmony that this temple will offer. Afterwards one can take a walk at the coffee plantation Oi Bura, where the night is spent.

Day 4 Tambora
Today the secrets of Mount Tambora are about to be discovered. Hence, a visit is brought to the secluded spot of the famous Pompeii of Tambora. Receive the power of Mount Tambora and learn how we as humans should respect the forces of Mother Earth. The journey continues to the village Doropeti, close to the crater of the volcano. The night is spent in a tent. It may not be as luxurious as a hotel but a night under the clear night sky filled with stars is definitely worthwhile.

Tambora
In 1815, the Tambora volcano erupted, being the largest eruption ever in the history of mankind. The effects were tremendous. Not only because of the thousands of people who died; the eruption also had a great influence on global climate. The year 1816 is known as the year without a summer in Europe.

Day 5 Tambora
The early morning starts with a trekking to various places around the crater. A unique and very impressive experience. These images are to remember, locked up in your heart.

Day 6 Tambora
Enjoy the morning at Tambora. The journey ends at the coffee plantation where one can rest and where all impressions can be processed.

Day 7 Tambora - Satonda
After breakfast, the island Satonda will be discovered. On this island a deep peace can be felt, which is continuously present. The ornamental lake in the middle of the island, offers a haven of peace and harmony. According to the population, your deepest wishes come true if you simultaneously hang a stone in the tree. It’s worth to give it a try. Enjoy the white beach of Satonda island before sailing back to Calabai village. Here you will stay with the locals. Privacy is ensured.

Day 8 Satonda - Sumbawa Besar
In the early morning the journey continues to Sumbawa Besar. During this rather long travel the beautiful coastline can be enjoyed of the island of Sumbawa and its clear waters. At Sumbawa Besar there is time to recover from this long trip. For those still have energy left, it might be nice to explore the area.

Dag 9 Sumbawa Besar
Today is for leisure. Sail to Moyo Island and enjoy the beautiful scenery both above and below sea level. Or make walks around Sumbawa Besar, visiting the traditional palace of the sultan.

Moyo
Moyo is an island in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara, which mainly contains natural areas. It lies to the north coast of Sumbawa Island, and has an area of 349 km2.

Dag 10 Sumbawa Besar
It is time to leave the beautiful island of Sumbawa with a transfer to the airport for your next destination. The end of this impressive experience, enjoy the richness of Sumbawa.
