Suitable for this is the lontar palm. Especially in Bali, where many centuries an isolated Hindu community lived with a highly developed culture, the lontar book forms a goldmine of historical information.
This book of lontarpalm leaves have multiple functions, such as the healing of certain diseases and telling mantras or magic words, of which believed that they have their own strength to balance the harmonious relationship between man, God and to repair and maintain the environment.
