HEART OF BALI

Bali exudes mysticism and is the island where everyone can relax with either entertainment at the beach but also with walks in the mountains or just with consciousness in a temple.
Enjoy this 7-day journey on the island.

Day 1 Tanah Lot
Arrived in Tanah Lot, you will feel the beauty and harmony that is present here. Tanah Lot is a beautiful temple on a small island on the southwest coast of Bali. This temple is world famous thanks to the stunning panoramas that occur at sunset. At low tide, the temple is reachable on foot. Calmly divide the day with walks around this beautiful temple, via peaceful little paths along the beach to the busy souvenir shops. You can relax in the spa area of Tanah Lot where a regal treatment awaits, or play golf at the magnificent track of Nirwana Golf. The sunset heralds another enchanting evening where the temple of Tanah Lot is the decor.

Day 2 Tanah Lot - Bedugul

After breakfast the journey goes on to Bedugul, a beautiful place in a more mountainous area in Bali, approximately 1200 meters above sea level. Along the way you will pass beautiful panoramas and views of valleys, plantations and rice fields. Arrived in Bedugul a tracking through the Botanical garden is waiting where ancient and rare tropical trees can be seen. The magic of Bedugul can surely be felt during a visit to the Hindu-Buddhist temple Ulun Danu.

The Ulun Danu temple is dedicated to the goddess Dewi Danu, the goddess of water.
The temple complex was built in 1633 on several islands in the lake. The characteristic Meru, with eleven roofs is in honour of Shiva and his consort Pervati. The complex is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Bratan. Besides Bratan Bedugul also has the Buyan Lake and Tamblingen lake.

Day 3 Bedugul
The colour of the morning will change from bright white to light blue and then, when the sun begins to kiss the earth, the night comes to life with stunning red. And all of this can be seen from the veranda of your own villa. Do not forget to calmly explore the area. It is also possible to start the day with golf on the beautiful golf course Bali Handara, with as background the beautiful mountain and lake. Or take a peaceful trip by traditional boat on one of the lakes of Bedugul.

After lunch it's time to get to know the area. There is much more to do in the area than appears at first sight. A unique trekking to the holy Golden Water is included in the program, a track to never forget. Meet people from the villages in the direct area to then get to beautiful waterfalls along narrow paths across the river. Deep in the jungle lays a bright source that is considered sacred. It is believed that from this sacred water, healing powers emanates. Take a place in peace to meditate or just to relax. Taste the holy water, maybe also you acknowledge that the sacred powers exist.

In the evening, it is possible to visit one of the medicine men, listen to his stories or drink delicious luwak coffee that is characteristic for Bedugul. In any case, close the evening with a romantic dinner.

Day 4 Bedugul - Kintamani
Today's journey goes through the heart of Bali. First, a stop at Petang is made. Here is an elephant camp. Then the final destination is Kintamani, here you will stay at Lake "Batur", located on the volcanic mountain Batur. In 2012, this mountain is named as UNESCO world heritage.

Day 5 Kintamani
This day is free to relax or explore the lake by boat. A must is to visit Trunyan, this is one of the oldest villages of Bali.

Trunyan
The village of Trunyan is squeezed tightly between the lake and the outer crater rim of Batur, an almighty volcano in Kintamani. This is a Bali Aga village, inhabited by descendants of the original Balinese, the people who predate the arrival of the Hindu Majapahit kingdom in the 16th century. It is famous for the Pura Pancering Jagat temple, which is very sacred. There are also a couple of traditional Bali Aga-style dwellings, and a large Banyan tree, which is said to be more than 1,100 years old. At Kuban sub-village close to Trunyan is a mysterious cemetery that is separated by the lake and accessible only by boat - there is no path along the steep walls of the crater rim.

Day 6 Kintamani - Ubud

Through the Gunung Kawi Temple and the various artists' villages you travel today towards Ubud. In Tegal Lalang it's possible to make wonderful walks through the rice fields with admirable views. Sit at a rice field to enjoy lunch in peace and enjoy the Balinese cuisine.
.
Day 7 Ubud
After breakfast it's time to visit the monkey forest where great walks can be made. You will then be transferred to the airport for your next destination. The end of a remarkable journey.
